1. Who we are

SeasonDex is an independent hobby project. SeasonDex is the data controller for personal data processed through this website. Contact: contact@seasondex.com.

2. Data we process

• Account data: name, email address, profile image, provider account identifiers.
• Authentication/session data: session tokens and login-related records.
• Product settings data: theme, view preferences, followed games, bookmarks, and related timestamps.
• Technical/operational data: basic security and reliability logs generated by hosting infrastructure.

3. Where data comes from

• Directly from you when you sign in or update settings.
• OAuth/email providers you choose to use (Discord, Google, Microsoft Entra ID, Resend, if enabled).
• Service providers used to host and operate SeasonDex.

4. Why we use data

• To provide account features, sign-in, and saved preferences (necessary for performance of our contract with you — our Terms).
• To secure the website and prevent abuse (our legitimate interests in keeping the service secure).
• To meet legal obligations where required.
• To run non-essential analytics only where you have given consent.

5. Service providers and sharing

SeasonDex uses processors including Vercel (hosting/analytics), Neon or configured Postgres provider (database hosting), authentication providers, and Resend (if email magic-link login is enabled). Data is shared only as needed to operate the service.

6. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside Ireland/EEA. Where applicable, provider safeguards are used for transfers.

7. Retention

Account and preference data is kept while your account is active. If you request deletion, data is removed or anonymized within 30 days, unless a longer period is required for legal or security reasons.

8. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability, and you may withdraw consent for analytics at any time.

9. Cookies and tracking

Strictly necessary cookies/storage are used for authentication and essential settings. Non-essential analytics is only loaded if you accept it. See the Cookie Notice for details.

10. Children

SeasonDex is not intentionally directed at children. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

This policy may be updated from time to time. Material updates will be reflected by revising the date above.
