The 3.2.0 PTR tests Soul Splinters, Challenge Dungeons, Overland Ambushes, legacy Uniques, character Rebirth, the Horadric Post, and Mythic changes. Blizzard identifies the season as Season of Infernal Chaos and has previewed Chaos Armor, Chaos Rifts, and updated Infernal Hordes.

Official final closed-beta test of the Isles of Abyss maritime survival scenario. Players explore scattered islands, build facilities, gather ocean and underwater resources, face Calamity Towers and Haywire Zones, and access the four-player Sunken Lord dungeon in Phase II.
Bungie says Season 3 begins on September 22 and brings big changes to the early game experience, including a Perimeter revamp with major new areas, encounters, and gameplay. It also introduces a new Runner shell, new weapons and equipment, and other content. Bungie later confirmed its full PvE mode will arrive in Season 3.
Season 5 is titled Rage of the Frostborn and is scheduled to launch on October 1, 2026. It adds the Rage of Morditas seasonal mechanic and endgame boss, Item Faction improvements, and the Paladin skill Radiant Lance.
Second seasonal character wipe, planned for Patch 1.4 under the name End of the Line. Battlestate has confirmed two seasons per year; the previously planned Scav Life DLC has been delayed to 2027 and is no longer expected to launch with this season.
Path of Exile 2 is scheduled to leave Early Access and launch as a free-to-play game on December 11, 2026 PST. Steam states that the full release is planned to add two more campaign acts, more classes and Ascendancy classes, skill gems, items, and endgame content.
