Dark and Darker

Eighth early access season launched January 29, 2026, introducing the Firedeep dungeon as a lava-filled second floor of the Goblin Caves. The season opened with a three-week Solo Self Found event before the Trading Post and Marketplace unlocked on February 20, 2026; the official Arena season also began February 20.

Seventh early access season launched September 23, 2025, with the EA#7 Seasonal Pack available on Steam. Ran approximately four months through January 2026.

Sixth early access season beginning approximately mid-March 2025, with the EA#6 Seasonal Pack available on Steam. Ran through September 2025 before the Season 7 wipe.

Fifth early access season launched December 18, 2024, continuing Ironmace's target of approximately three-month seasons with a full character and economy reset.

Fourth early access season launched June 7, 2024, coinciding with the game's return to Steam as a free-to-play release. Ran approximately six months before the December 2024 wipe.

Third early access season beginning March 15, 2024, following a full character and economy wipe. Ran approximately three months through the game's return to Steam as a free-to-play title.

Second full early access wipe on October 26, 2023, originally scheduled for late November but moved up. Marked the first extended season in the game's early access period, running approximately five months.

First full wipe of Dark and Darker's early access period, launched August 28, 2023 — about three weeks after the game's initial EA release on August 7 — after an early reset prompted by cheater exploitation. A partial soft wipe preserving character levels followed on September 26, 2023.
